The tales from Scottish mythology say the shape-shifting Each Uisge lives in the sea and lakes of Scotland, disguising itself as a fine stallion. If a human mounts it in view of the sea or a lake, the Each Uisge's skin becomes bonded to the rider and the creature gallops into the deepest part of the loch to drown it's hapless victim, before devouring it's corpse... Behold the legendary demon!

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.
